WFH or Working from home could be a preferable choice for some people or a torturing situation. Of course that there are pros and cons of WFH, you can wake up later than going to the office, no more traffic jams, but stuck in the room, you start getting neck pain and back pain because of computer use, or feel unorganized for some reasons. Until the day we can go out again, I would like to share some extensions that could be installed on Chrome, as we normally use every day, and it could color your boring Work from Home... There are 6 + 1 of extension, 6 for Google Chrome extension, and plus 1 for Macbook user. Shall we?   

Momentum (Free) 

Every time you open a new window from Chrome, no more boring, plain, standard features with Momentum. Basically, this extension shows a time, weather, greetings, mantras, and beautiful landscape of nature. You can set the daily goal as well. Those are FREE. For other settings such as font match, photo match, multitask tool helper, and other settings that help you to be more productive on Chrome, but these are in-app purchases. Toby (Free)

Another new tab extension “Toby”. This fits anyone who has various tasks, looking for tab management and wants to save time when opening your daily tabs. It can clear your clutter tabs to be one-click and other tab management functions. Its design will be different from Momentum’s but depends on you, just go for the one that fits you most. Grammarly (Free) 

Worldwide application! We can see it everywhere and it is one of the most suggested extensions for Chrome (They also have a website version). Once, we install it every email, word, thesis, the content could be more grammatically correct. I believe that many of us already installed this, but how can we not mention this assistant.

Breaktimer (Free)

The simple Break Timer where you can set your own schedule. In case you want to try Pomodoro Technique, this extension might fit you. There is also a website version, https://breaktimer.app/ or load extension from here

Stretchclock (Free)

Maybe this extension could save you from Office Syndrome. It simply sets you a timer and not only reminds you to take a break but also comes up with stretching videos where you can relax. Stretching does not need to be on a Yoga mat, it could only take a couple of real deep breaths, releasing shoulder and neck tension. Highly recommend to try this, stick with it just 1-2 day to see if it works, and it is FREE. Click here

Kami (Free)

Are you looking for a share screen helper? This might help you a lot, especially in a class with the students. Kami is created to assist an online classroom with the PDF or photo. You can highlight, markup, draw, add comments, notes, or even you can use a dictionary function for any unfamiliar vocabulary. I believe they have a free version as well. Runcat (Free)

I would like to add on for Macbook users, Runcat. Is there anyone here who is a cat-lover? You can download Runcat to see if your computer’s health. It will run fast if there is heavy use, and it can show briefly the status of your computer. But don’t worry you are a dog-lover or you are into zombies, there are also other characters as I mentioned, yet it is FREE. It is available on App Store, simply search “Runcat”.
